Working at Vie

‘Hi I’m an incoming second year student at Cambridge studying Maths and have just completed a week of work experience at Vie. I’ve been working on a project for Karen, Finance Director, assembling data from clients’ portfolios, to determine their average quarterly growth rate depending on their life insurance solution and investment option, and shadowing Christiaan, Senior Private Client Advisor. It was really interesting to be surrounded by the whole team during a busy week, and hearing all that goes on especially with client interaction. There’s been a welcoming environment and it’s good to be part of a small team that by nature is very collaborative and always keen to answer any questions I’ve had. Having come in with very little knowledge of insurance and the type of solutions that Vie provides, I’ve learnt a lot and would highly recommend this opportunity!’
